CALL RIPLEY is the story of W. Allen Clifford. Born poor in Augusta, Georgia, Clifford tells a colorful and humorous tale about his charmed life's beginning during World War II and the changes that have transpired over the past 80 years (both good and bad). Allen's personal stories about Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, Gary Player, Elvis, Mandela, Pele, Johnny Unitas, Charles Barkley, Art Linkletter, and others can be discovered in CALL RIPLEY. There are many BELIEVE IT OR NOT experiences where he could have called Ripley, but he will let this book take care of those missed opportunities. "You young folks will learn a lot about what has transpired over these 80 years. You old farts will enjoy a trip that will make you recall memories of how it used to be and how we got to where we are today." – W. Allen Clifford.
