After Genevieve's husband dies under suspicious circumstances and leaves behind a trail of stolen money, she sets out to answer the questions many have asked: "What if I create a whole new person? What if I become Eve?"
Call Me Eve is a story of a woman who, in her small village of Unionville, PA, begins to reinvent herself from a submissive wife into a visionary entrepreneur. As she awakens to all she had conveniently avoided in her marriage, she discovers her powerful strength and direction.
Eve's new life unfolds when an undocumented immigrant landscaper's wisdom and support enable her to "become" and to empower others as well. Along the way, they surprise each other with a multi-cultural love affair that challenges Eve to respond to many small-town attitude differences, climate-change adaptation, landscaping practices, and land conservation uses. Call Me Eve is a bold, compelling novel about second chances, self-discovery, and the quiet power of transformation as it explores through story the age-old question: "What if?"
