If you've ever spent time lakeside or in the deep woods, escaped to the sea or a nearby pond, spent time sprawled out in the grass or watched critters in their natural habitat, you're going to love the encompassing nature theme that runs through Cadence. Dragonflies, weeping willows, shipwrecks and all sorts are waiting for you between the pages of this debut collection spanning thirty years and over seventy poems by Connecticut resident, Sharon Arsego, herself a lifetime observer of wildlife and lover of the four signature seasons in the Nutmeg state. Cadence's easy to read style with a side of insight and sprinkling of humor will make you feel welcome, whether hearing the word "poetry" usually makes you cringe a little or jump for joy a lot. Take Cadence into your hands and see which of her poems also find room in your heart!
