Burn

Consumed by a fiery pain, a man seeks the "Gypsy King" for oblivion. An elixir transports him to a reality where cold replaces burning, and a photo leads him to a house he believes is his. He brutally attacks the couple inside, convinced he's reclaiming his life. Waking in a hospital, memory shattered, he learns the horrifying truth from detectives: his drug-fueled delusion led him to break into his childhood home and murder his own parents. The final, crushing realization shatters his already fragmented mind. A. Craig Newman is a New Jersey native who has been writing since he was 10. He recently received his Masters in Creative writing from Wilkes University. Craig plans to work on his backlog of story ideas for short stories, screenplays, stage plays, and poetry until he finds his voice and his place in the writing world.
