What if real community renewal starts not with politics or big government but with a change of heart? Discover how reclaiming the believer's true purpose can spark hope and renew the communities right where you live. Robert Loughery writes as a politician, follower of Jesus, and one who is disturbed about how the believing community has lost its way in the wars of right against the left. He asks: "Who is the good Samaritan today?" As a profoundly conservative and biblically-oriented man, he humbly explores our profound need to be bound to the passion and person of Jesus, not any single person or party. This book will reorient your heart in a mad and hate-filled world and help you grow the wisdom to be part of God's story of redemption and blessing. This is a rich, healing restoration for your soul. Dan B. Allender, Ph.D. Professor of Counseling Psychology and Founding President The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology We spend way too much time wringing our hands over the headlines that remind us-24/7-that we're living in a fallen world. Invest some time with this great book to see how you could reimagine the possibilities of reconstructing God's original intent-the functional experience of redemptive community-and find yourself clapping your hands instead. I commend "Building Redemptive Community" to you as an invitation to be part of the Ultimate Solution to the deconstruction that continues around us. Bob Shank Founder, The Master's Program
