Robert Gibson is a leading interculturalist trainer and public speaker on the subject pf intercultural competence development in business and education. He was responsible for intercultural training for individuals, teams and business units in Siemens AG for 18 years where latterly his focus was on developing and implementing programs to mitigate the impact of unconscious bias and promote inclusion in international companies. He is former Vice-President of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR Europa).
He is a Visiting Professor at the Business School of the University of Bologna, teaching Cross-Cultural Management on Global MBA and MA programs. His numerous publications include 'Intercultural Business Communication' (OUP) and over 70 articles on intercultural issues for the magazine 'Business Spotlight'.
