I was molded into the person I became from the adults I was around most of my life. Not to place blame on them, as they did not know they were molded as well. To know and not to do is still not to know. Once I realized I was mimicking the people I admired, it was easy to break out of the mold. Led by the Holy Spirit, who gently guided me out of the dark pit I had dug with my own understanding. And coming out of denial. I heard the Holy Spirit clearly and just had to follow the directions I was given. By following the Holy Spirit and not my own flesh, I was able to find my way out of the pit.
