Bluegrass, Second Chances, and the Courage to Begin Again
Still grieving the loss of her husband, Anne Nelson reluctantly attends a bluegrass music festival hosted by her son's band in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. There, she is stunned to discover that her late husband's best friend, Dave, is now part of the band.
His presence stirs unsettling memories and questions she isn't ready to answer, yet Anne can't deny how much she is drawn to the festival.
She returns year after year, forming deep friendships and a growing appreciation for the music while questioning her feelings for Dave, his unsettling lack of concern about her husband's death, and her own lingering guilt.
With each visit, Anne experiences moments of humor, drama, and heartache as she searches for answers, faith, and love, all set against the rich backdrop of bluegrass songs that echo the rhythms of life.
"I highly recommend this book to any fan of bluegrass and bluegrass festivals."-Dan Miller, Editor, Bluegrass Unlimited
