A revolution is devastating vampire society.

Angela Vista, the daughter of ghouls and reluctant vampire, serves as a conduit for her dead sire's soul. Angela travels the country with an undead gang of assassins that goes by the name El Diablo Cebo (The Devil's Bait) hunting criminal for the Cabal Ministry. Their latest job is to eliminate the charismatic rebel leader working to break the old traditions and bring vampires out of the coffin. When the job takes an unexpected turn Angela is left as the gang's sole surviving member, her prey becomes her ally. Together they'll work to shed light on the sect that dictates their existence and avenge her fallen friends. Angela must change her face, her body, and her name to spy on the Cabal Ministry. As a mole, she'll seduce the Cabal Sheriff. Soon the war to free themselves from the shadows becomes a battle for Angela's heart.
