About

Tomas Reed was once a promising professor of mythology. Today, he lives on the streets of London, estranged from the academic world he once believed in and convinced that philosophy has lost its meaning in a society that grows increasingly superficial. Beneath his sharp intellect lies a man who has become afraid of closeness, disappointed in the world, and above all, disappointed in himself.
Eydís comes from Iceland. As a shepherd, she is accustomed to harsh landscapes, difficult choices, and a life where actions matter more than words. Independent, direct, and cautious with her emotions, she carries wounds from the past that have taught her not to trust too quickly.
When their paths cross by chance in a London pub, an unexpected connection begins to grow. What starts as curiosity slowly develops into a journey of trust, understanding, and a second chance at life. While London and Iceland stand as two completely different worlds, Tomas and Eydís discover that they have far more in common than either of them ever imagined.
Between London and Iceland is a moving literary novel about loss, loneliness, human dignity, and the courage to reconnect when life has taught you to keep your distance.
