Every Side book series involves African American twenty somethings whose lives are closely interconnected before something unthinkable happens one day that can't be reversed. Lives are forever changed in some ways for the better and in others for the worse. In Every Side Betrayed, we meet Lauryn, a young, savvy, and driven business professional. Life is more than good to her, and she's on the fast track to checking off many of her life goal boxes. Many adore her, she befriends just about everyone, and men never want to her kill her in the F-M-K game. Interestingly, though, Lauryn also has a "fan club" whose members aren't "fans" in the traditional sense. When Lauryn's life changes irrevocably, are members of this "fan club" responsible, or is it a change agent closer to home? Prepare to laugh and cry with Lauryn as she deals with challenges in all areas of her life as she approaches the end of her twenties. Readers will go on the journey with her as she navigates the highs and lows in her love life and career in Nashville, TN. Does she learn to the take the bull by the horn or roll with the punches thrown her way? Will she grow through her adversities and change the direction of her life, or will she be more of the same.
