From his new house to the new neighborhood park and beyond, young Berl is a kind and gentle soul who enjoys being a kid and loves his family and friends. Explore his new town Center Hill with him! When the Squeevers moved from their farm to the city, it was a little bit of an adjustment for Berl. He's a rough-and-tumble guy who loves to go-kart, fish, and play outside-something he's not always able to do in his new town of Center Hill! Mama Squeever knows Berl is feeling a little out of his element, so she and Berl go exploring around town to see who they can meet and what they can find! On their adventure, Berl introduces the reader to all the nice (and sometimes, not as nice) people and places he discovers. He makes a new friend, meets some wonderful townspeople, and even makes plans for the family at a new Church! No matter the obstacles and new experiences Berl faces, he stays his kind-hearted, fun self. Most importantly, he keeps up with always being happy to help others when needed. Meet all the new faces of Center Hill in Berl's life as he introduces them one by one, shows them kindness, and helps bring joy to their lives. Berl Squeever: Berl's New Town is a heartfelt and vibrantly-illustrated children's book that teaches the values of kindness, generosity, compassion, and friendship. It helps to instill into children that even when they're in a new place or an unfamiliar situation, they can stick to their Christian values and help others to make the world a brighter, more inclusive place!
