Dr. Randal Reilly is an aging psychotherapist from Vancouver. Kayaking off the British Columbia coast off the Southern Gulf Islands, he finds a naked lady in a lifeboat. She is in an amnesic fugue. Harjit Singh is an Appeals Court Judge. Jeff Kroberts is an applied artificial intelligence engineer from Seattle who developed language nanobots and delivers a keynote speech at the Shanghai Symposium. Winston Xing is a gifted musician and executive chauffeur who teaches Jeff how to pace his life, the mysteries of Chinese culture, and challenges like the Great Wall. These people tell stories that are interconnected and explain some of the psychological underpinnings of the Belle Islet Lady.
