Teenage sisters Anna Lee and Sherri Joyce appear to live a quiet, ordinary life, homeschooled, sheltered, and protected from the outside world. But as the walls of their home begin to close in, hidden truths emerge, forcing one of them to confront a reality she never knew existed.
Told through the eyes of a victim slowly awakening to the truth, Behind the Door is a gripping and unsettling story that challenges perceptions of good and evil while shedding light on the human reality behind trafficking. It is a powerful reminder that even in the darkest circumstances, there is hope, and that survival often begins with opening the door to the truth.
