About

Why do majority of drivers promptly slow down on city or major highways when a police car is sported riding slightly ahead in traffic? Because drivers knew that the person behind the wheel is duly commissioned to enforce traffic laws. The officer might be off-duty at the time, however; he or she can still pull you over and for that, many are not tempted to speed ahead of his vehicle. The moment the officer exited; everyone picks up speed as if collectively saying, "There goes the man."

And do you ever wonder why it happens that way? It is because the presence of the police car represents authority. Sometimes though, there might be a driver tempted to drive faster than the officer who is purposefully driving as a pace car for everyone else. Then suddenly, off goes the blue lights and sirens. We all have egos deep as the depth of Niagara Falls.

By law, anything over speed limit, at the discretion of the officer, you can be ticketed. And when the siren or blue lights go off, your safe bet is to simply comply. Arguing the legality of any stop on the roadside would be unwise. It's what Gen Z coined as FAFO on the web. Hello AI, what does the acronym FAFO means? FAFO is an internet slang acronym for "F\*\*\* Around And Find Out," meaning if someone behaves carelessly or provocatively, they will face the negative consequences.

While someone may decide to fight a officer(s) by the roadside, the officer(s) are only a tiny part of the system such a person will have to contend with at a later date. Remember that fighting officer(s) authorize to enforce all laws including traffic laws only give you a temporary pleasure. Uniformed enforcement are just a tiny part of the system - Would you also fight The judge too? Remember, you have more than fifty percent chance of winning in the courts, and one hundred percent chance that you will lose on your roadside's righteous litigation.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
As a former High School and Junior College teacher, program counselor for adolescents, group home manager for autistic and physically challenged individuals, and residential facility program director, I have worked with numerous youngsters from middle school age to college level adults. And prior to going into the military; I directed a Re-Entry programs for ex-offenders in Connecticut and I have since operated a similar non-profit program for first time offenders between the ages of 20 to 29 years old in the State of Georgia. One thing I have learnt from all the children is that they just wanted someone to LOVE and TRUST them as well as provide a stable environments. I will bet you and I craved for similar structures growing up. But love, trust and stability are sometimes the furthest thing that they have ever experienced.

Consequently, when they are old enough and driving, majority of these young people, even into their adulthood, still find it difficult to be instructed by strangers. Bad behaviors directed towards law enforcement officers has severe consequences. Growing up in a stable home and environments make for a well-trained child and it carries into adulthood. I asked Google AI about correlation between stability and obedience to common-sense laws, and this is what it says: "Yes, stable homes are crucial for excellent child development fostering safety, reducing stress, improving health and academics, and building essential life skills that lead to long-term success, while instability increases risks for health, behavioral, and educational challenges.

I pray that by reading this book, you will be more equipped than you were last night about prepping our young people to succeed rather than to fail. We can change the narrative that the law is not their enemy but rather friends. and that they can only win when they don't litigate their rights on the roadway. Thank you for your kindness. JM
