The SEALs known as Brannigan's Brigands are in Afghanistan facing their biggest challenge yet. An elite force of Iranian extremists, along with mercenaries from every rogue regime, is poised to launch a major offensive. Their goal is simple: take over Afghanistan first, and then conquer country after country in the Middle East, forming a new Persian Empire. Brannigan and his men are ready to take the fight to the enemy. For whoever draws first blood will have almost certain victory.
But what Brannigan doesn't know is that enemy is being aided by two men-a British deserter and a fanatical Iranian special forces commander-both of whom know the terrain of the coming battle better than anyone. And they've prepared a surprise for the Americans-one that they won't survive.
