Three recent rivals find themselves as teammates on a low-level college baseball team. Greg Romano, Nick Davis, and Ryan Winter strive to find their niche on a new team with new demands on them. Younger brother Henry Winter struggles being left behind with a year of high school to finish in a new town with a new team. And mentor Sheldon Hill, after giving mind and body to baseball for his whole adult life, is forced to come to terms with who he is without the Game.
