Divorced. Forty. Flat broke.Milly Miller thought the biggest surprise of her week would be her decree absolute arriving in the post. Then a solicitor's letter lands on her doormat… along with a small fortune and a posh London flat from an old friend she hasn't seen in years.Sounds perfect, right? Except the flat comes with a ghost – the very glamorous, very opinionated Prill – who isn't about to let being dead get in the way of giving advice. Especially when it involves Milly's love life… or lack thereof. But when Prill casually drops the bombshell that her death might not have been an accident, Milly realises her new life may come with more complications than just nosy neighbours and a suspiciously charming cleaner.Between magical surprises, unexpected friendships, a swirl of scones, and one extremely gorgeous man who keeps showing up in the wrong places, Milly's midlife is about to get a lot more interesting. If you like quirky heroines, mischievous ghosts, a dash of danger and a kiss of romance, you'll love Baking and Entering – the first book in Milly's Magical Midlife series. I hail from Liverpool, lived in London, and now stay on the soggy west coast of Scotland with my third husband. Most days I long for sunnier climes but cheer myself up with chocolate. I'm a personal stylist/stress consultant turned author. A lifelong bookworm, reading and writing are my first loves.
If you enjoyed this book, I'd love you to leave a review on Amazon. Ta very muchly.
