About
If the worlds don't kill them, the Authorities will.
Synjan Walker is a Navigator, she can not only see life-forms but also the lay of the land. She can find anybody-even if they don't want to be found-because life-patterns are unique, like thumbprints. She also knows how to find the Portal to escape her violent life, but she doesn't use it. Her life is a complicated mess of misplaced obligation.
Daeson of Cloverlea sees the truth when people lie but their secrets undo him. Heeding the call of the Portal, Daeson enters a new world filled with thieves and murderers. Synjan's world.
The moment Daeson Wanders, he captures the attention of the Authorities - an organisation that invented mechanical portals and deem all others illegal. They send assassins called Hunters after those who defy their rules. Daeson doesn't know the trouble heading his way... but he is about to find out.
