A blank book and a pen, are the very best of analysts, the very best friend, that a troubled mind can have… Scott Nellis considers himself a chronicler of life. After rereading some of his writings after a nineteen-year hiatus, he now shares his story in poetic form. In a collection of poems and song lyrics interlaced with brief stories, Nellis shares an inspired glimpse at his personal experiences penned while in a constant process of self-analysis. He reflects on a song of tears with a range and clarity all its own, the good that comes and the good that goes, empty hearts that cry their song alone, how life changes in an instant, a mirror that reflects pain and sorrow eyes, when good times turn into goodbyes, the lines clearly drawn on the battlefield of night, and much more. Autopoemographical shares poems, song lyrics, and other writings that candidly explore one man's journey through life as he observes, learns, and acknowledges the gifts we take for granted.
