Stephan is handed a raw deal when his wife has him institutionalized in a hospital with cruel and uncaring staff. He is held against his will in a ward that has been partaking in an unorthodox, nocturnal experiment that uses patients for its purpose.
Stephan finds a light in the darkness of his situation in the form of another patient. She's the drive behind his plan to escape the nightmare before time runs out.
