After accidentally breaking a magical snow globe, Noelle and her brother Josh are swept into Natalie's pocket dimension, where Christmas lasts all year. Confused and unsure how they got there-or how to get home-they turn to Sydney, the toymaker, who may hold the answers. But as cracks begin to spread through the snow globe, each of them discovers that sometimes, the truest magic is finding where you're meant to stay. When JD Cadmon was a little girl, her grandmother convinced her that she was descended from space aliens. If that's not proof that the love of story is in her DNA, she doesn't know what is.
As an Earth-bound and human adult, she has a job she loves, which might in itself be as strange as being a space alien. JD sings and plays a variety of musical instruments. She loves languages and linguistics, having studied several world languages.
