Some names were never meant to be remembered. But Archer Womack refused to be erased.
Born into bondage on the Crenshaw plantation, Archer knew two things-freedom was a distant dream, and survival required more than just strength. It required intelligence, patience, and a will that could not be broken. When the opportunity to escape presents itself, Archer risks everything, leaving behind the chains of the past and stepping into an uncertain future.
From the treacherous backroads of Alabama to the hallowed halls of Hampton Institute, Archer's journey is one of transformation. He reinvents himself, determined not just to survive, but to thrive. But as the Civil War looms and the fight for true freedom rages on, Archer realizes that the battle is far from over. His name may be his own now, but the weight of history still lingers.
Decades later, his great-great-great-grandson Ezra Womack will uncover the truth of his ancestor's fight, piecing together a legacy long buried by time.
Archer: A Discovered Legacy explores the cost of freedom, the power of education, and the resilience of a man who refused to be forgotten.
