About

In Apocrypha Act II, Henry A. Salas, writing as Henry Does, deepens his dark fantasy saga of faith, power, and the cost of survival. The Lower Lands sprawl from ice capitals and wolf-ruled forests to silent gates half-buried in sand, all haunted by a past written by the Primes and the Adams. A forbidden manuscript has been translated at last, and the words refuse to stay quiet. Wars stir at the borders. Orders and witch clans make new pacts. The Tree of Life and Death wakes hungry for what men still fear to name.

Many threads drive the tale toward one reckoning. In the north, the reluctant interpreter Eliot Frigg finishes the text for the heretic barbarian wolves and becomes the quarry of the Order of Eon. In Celen, Princess Sakura slips her chains and learns the truth buried in the water of the city and within her own blood. Across Lakefields, Hallard rides with a company of Shabrani Witches toward Rivercrash, where they are haunted by abominations created by Balor Witches whose powers are beyond anything the Lower Lands have seen. Demoria, the Shabrani Witch, is confronted with nightmares that take form in the real world. To the south, the new King Bason is challenged by fate to become the catalyst of a brewing war between Borraral and the Golden Nation.

Act II is a reckoning. Heretics will be named. Oaths will be damned. Forbidden names will be spoken, and such acts demand a price. Blood decides who stands and who falls.

Apocrypha is no longer a secret; it is a prayer for the damned.
