Chase Fortune has one year to turn around a rundown ranch in order to earn it from his great-aunt. His year certainly has an odd start when he rescues neighbor Lesley Bastian from a blizzard and helps deliver her baby! Far from the clingy type, Lesley wants to leave Chase as soon as possible, and get on with the business of reviving her own ranch. But weather and fate transpire against them, and soon they've fallen in love. But when it appears that it's either her ranch or his, Chase has to face a tough decision between his home and his heart.
