Discover how God works in the lives of those less fortunate in this moving memoir from a former missionary to Uganda, Africa. When John Womack arrived in Uganda for the first time as part of a Christian mission team, something in him changed. Humbled by the inspiring stories of the Ugandan people, he vowed to return. And over the course of ten years, he did just that, leading eighteen mission trips where he preached the Word of God and ministered to the communities of Uganda, Africa. And throughout his time in Africa, he came to fully appreciate the meaning of "blessed are the poor." In his memoir, And Then God Stepped In, he reflects on his life in ministry, from his early calling to his final trip. Through his heartfelt testimony of the wonders of God's work, readers will come to understand just how much God loves all people, especially the poor and underserved.
