A highly readable, provocative, and comical short-lined verse meditation on life and living, "An Actor's Prologue" is fun to read alone or aloud with people who want to consider what it means to act in this world of beauty, love, and stupid ********. If you feel both excited by life and frustrated by the sorts of people you have to deal with, you may find this book not only a lively kick but also a comfort and an inspiration.
