T O R C H B R E N N A N was born to be a cop, and especially, a homicide detective. He had the instincts and that gut feeling mentality that helps detectives sort out the good from the bad. Minneapolis was a city that gave him a lot of challenges but he was always up for it. Through it all, he tried to remain personally uninvolved with his cases and their victims, but that all changed one cold Christmas Eve.
Mathew Halsworth Jr. was born with no moral compass. He was rich and intelligent and had every break in life one could ever want or need. But he grew up to be a ruthless, cold and uncaring born killer. He felt he was too cunning to get caught, and for a long time he was. That is, until he met Torch.
While most detectives would have given up and stuffed this case in the cold case file, Torch could not and would not forget. He could forget a lot of victims, but not this one. This story will challenge your imagination with its many twist and turns, but in the end; no, I’m not going to go there. Read the book you will be surprised.
