American Haiku

American Indians are believed to be the first humans to populate North America. There is a commonly held belief that 20,000 years ago, as the world today counts time, Mongolian Nomads crossed Beringia, a land bridge connecting Siberia with Alaska, to enter the western hemisphere and became the people now known as the American Indians.
