An altercation on a bus between a homeless man and a drunk reveals an obscure book of Czech poetry and a mystery relating to it from eighty years earlier in Nazi-occupied Prague. A prequel to Last Jew in Prague, "All the Beautiful Words" is a short story about sorrow and hope and how the two sometimes entwine.
