While playing in the garden a young girl named Alice follows a rabbit down a rabbit hole and her adventure begins. She finds herself in a big room at the bottom of the rabbit hole. She continues through the maze and drinks a magic potion that makes her small enough to enter a tiny door where she encounters a variety of interesting characters.
