"Alice Through the Looking Glass" is, conceived as a game of chess, where streams and hedges divide the squares and Alice is a pawn who aspires to be queen; a chess game where nothing makes sense and nothing is what it seems. In the mirror world, reality is, distorted, or perhaps it is just another way of seeing it.
