"I turn around slowly and find the Advisor's massive, impenetrable body, staring down at me as if I am what stands between her and infinite power from her goddess. I'll be dead before she gets that." One vial down, two more to go. On the run, Hurricane and her new guide Sparik stumble through the mountainous continent of Alpi with nothing but mutual support to aid their journey. When Sparik's tyrannical stepbrother Prince Faolani thrusts an order for their death upon them, they must lie undercover and convince the earth dragon goddess Giddrath they are innocent. With each step through the woods, Hurricane, Sparik, and a new, mysterious dragoness historian seek to clear their names and pave the way for a brighter future, but one wrong move will cut their quest and lives short.
