From award-winning cartoonist Eleanor Davis, this hilarious and heartwarming picture book celebrates kindness, community, imagination, and outdoor play-perfect for fans of The World Belonged to Us and Everybody in the Red Brick Building
It's time for a parade! Why? Because Gabby said so! Gabby and her grandma set out through the streets of their neighborhood, and Gabby invites everyone (well, everyone who is nice) to join her. There's a lot of talent in Gabby's parade: Fatima can double hula-hoop, Rashad can walk like a crab, and Anthony has very, very good boots. Gabby is bossy, but she's also kind, and the resulting parade is silly, noisy, righteous, and just plain fun.
Full of humor and heart, A Very Good Parade is a scrappy celebration of empowerment, kids, and community.
