“A Tortoise Shell Cat Named Patches” is a collection of true stories about the first cat of author Karon McAninch.
Highly intelligent and playful, Patches performed antics and played games that amazed and surprised Karon-and will amaze and surprise you too! Patches' energy and curiosity were boundless, which she expressed through catching yarn balls in midair, to playing with her tail while swaying in a hammock created by a bedsheet, to chasing a bobbin tied at the end of a string. With Patches everyday items were a new plaything and every day was a new adventure. Cat-loving people of all ages, from young children to adults, will love these bedtime short stories of this adorable, mischievous cat. The vivid, engaging language along with the photographs of Patches throughout the text gives readers a front-row seat to all of the fun and excitement.
