TERROR TRAILS / Barry Smith This fast-paced and exciting adventure is the start of a series of thrillers, in which Ken Eliot and Kat Douglas risk all in detecting and combating evil and criminal plots against Australia's interests at home and abroad. Terrorism. Espionage. Intrigue. Violence and Sex. From Manchester to Melbourne via Spain, Finland and Russia. The IRA bomb that devastated Manchester, propels newly recruited MI5 and ASIS agents, Kat and Ken into a deadly race across Europe and down under, in pursuit of weapons and money trails that arm and finance KGB sponsored, IRA terror groups. With the help of British, Spanish and Australian intelligence forces, Kat and Ken outwit, seduce and outfight Russian agents and deadly IRA assassins from Manchester, through Barcelona and across Finland to St Petersburg and on to the exciting finish, in the heart of marvelous Melbourne. Ken ends his UK exile imposed on him by ASIO in Barry's previous book Victoria's Twins, self-published in 2017 MI5 seeks his assistance in unearthing the KGB's arms and money supply trails and, teamed up with Katherine (Kat) Douglas, another secret service recruit from Australia, he grapples with politicians, spies and assassins on his way back to Australia and the start of his new life as a security consultant in Melbourne's little Italy.
