An efficient, executive assistant meets a handsome stranger who has traveled far and long; for her number which he had called was a duo of digits that were switched around and not where they belonged. Find out what happens when a mistaken number becomes the right, personal touch. Things fall lusciously into place when a wrongly placed single digit becomes "A Perfect Mistake". In this contemporary romance, A.H. Scott reveals that what is sometimes seen as a minus of monotony, actually can be a plus of pleasure. Dial up desire in "A Perfect Mistake".Choosing to accept this offer of arousal would be easy, yet something was holding her back. Present day had a way of intertwining with past choices.A one-night stand was something of yesteryears for Vanessa and she made it known to him, "I'm not a plaything, Jerrold".Mutually, Mackenzie understood exactly where she was coming from, as his own pace of proposals and proprieties was calmly revealed, "Lovely one, I'm not a toy either".Hearing his words were beyond refreshing for Vanessa, who had more than her share of cavalier come-ons from many businessmen over the years.Vanessa slowly pulled her hand from his touch and subtlety shifted her body in that chair, "You definitely are something different, Mr. Mackenzie" She inhaled gently and smiled, "Yes, sir ree-bob".Mackenzie played along with her and tossed a naughty nugget into the verbal mix, "Call me 'sir'. But, never call me Bob".Petrie made a move to let this man know exactly how impressed she was with him, as she stood up from that chair and reached over to kiss him on the lips, "Yes" Barely audible, she continued, "…Sir".He whispered right back at her, "God, woman. You are really starting to drive me up the wall with that word", Jerrold rubbed her shoulders, "I guess like they say, the best things come to those who wait".Vanessa returned to her chair, "And, I can assure you, I am worth the wait"."If I had doubts about that fact before that kiss" Slumping back in his chair, he added, "They are gone with the wind, Miss Petrie".Mackenzie folded his arms and gazed her up and down, as a thousand thoughts swirled in his brain about this woman. Having a keen sense of being able to read women, he observed her aura of confidence and desire. She was eager to be with him right then and there, but not hungry enough to dissolve control for the sake of a less than optimum liaison."Waiter!" Jerrold called out a stout, middle-aged man standing by the bar area, "Check, please!" "It all begins between the ears". - A.H. ScottABOUT A.H. SCOTT -A.H. Scott is an author of fiction of varied styles. From contemporary to historical; she brings characters into stark view. Romances ever so sweet and tender to adventures of legends from far-away lands, her writing can take a readers' imagination to places of courage, passion, pride, and sojourn of enlightenment. Yet, don't be fooled, A.H. Scott does not let her pen rest on a single note of simplicity. She delves into desires within the heart with characters of sensuality and decadent lust. Women of abandon and men of lascivious intent intermingle in plots of hedonistic havens. Beyond the stars or right next door, her fiction soars and swirls with touches of light and excursions into shadow.========================A.H.
