This book was born in 2002 as a Bible study that I wrote for the women
who gathered at my home to study God's Word. At that time, I felt that
the current culture had been especially good at robbing us of our freedom.
As I dug into the Word of God to put together the resulting study, I
realized that the current bondage that plagued our society was common
to all people of all generations. The basic cause of bondage has been the
same for all people since the fall of Adam – Sin.
So, the question you must ask yourself is, "Are you free?". The Bible
tells us that Christ came to set us free in Galatians 5:1. If not, the second
question that must be asked is, "Why not?".
As you begin to study the Word through the help of this book, pray that
the Holy Spirit will increase your hunger, your appetite, and your passion
for a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
