Little Timmy Mitchell is a lively youngster with an ocean-sized heart who lives in the busy town of Willowbrook. He also has an insatiable curiosity. Under his exuberant façade, however, is a problem that many encounter but few comprehend: ADHD.
The narrative "Journey to Understanding" is about more than just ADHD. It is a story of resiliency, empathy, and hope. Enter Timmy's world as he uses his newly acquired "toolbox" to manage his condition to negotiate the challenges of friendships, school, and self-awareness. Every chapter, from the suspenseful "Classroom Challenge" to the endearing "Soccer Tryout" and the educational "Science Fair Surprise," is a monument to the universal love of family and the resilience of the human spirit. For kids and adults alike, this book is insightful and heartwarming, offering hope to anybody impacted by ADHD.
