"This book is a great start to an epic new adventure. Yes, I do call it an epic. It has the feel of Tolkien or C.S. Lewis. You have new worlds to explore and new friends to meet. I loved the interactions between the characters."--T. Graczykowski"This is my new favorite series. The characters are compelling and you cannot help but fall in love with them. An unpredictable journey for this amazing heroine will keep you turning pages to see where her journey leads, and you will want to download the next five books to devour them as quickly as the first. Jenevier never loses her power over the reader to feel every ounce of her love and anguish. A deeply compelling story that will leave you wanting more, and exceedingly grateful that there is."--Cory Williams"Like an effervescent kaleidoscope, book one of A Dance with Destiny is a magical, visually stunning, and whirling adventure that will ceaselessly delight. Prepare yourself, dear reader, for something truly extraordinary. JK Ensley's first novel in the series, Cursed by Diamonds, will not leave you in anticipation; it will leave you yearning and impatiently starving for more. Hauntingly dark, but shining throughout, JK Ensley has weaved an epic tale of love, fear, friendship and strength. With witchcraft, elves, demi-gods, insane princes, and unbreakable bonds, an enchanting new genre is born. Fairytales beware; the fantasytale has been born. Add all of the A Dance with Destiny books to your online bookshelves today, and this reviewer promises, you will be obsessed by tomorrow."--Lindsay Mcdonald"Jenevier is back. This story is such a beautiful continuation of the first story, that I had to read it all in one sitting. I will admit that I cried as much in this story as I did in the first. Ms. Ensley draws you in and sit's you to the side, as you watch the story unfold. It's spellbinding and heartbreaking all at the same time. You catch your breath often, and blow it out in relief, you feel anger, triumph, fear, and sadness throughout. It's a fascinating story and I can't wait to see what happens as the story unfolds. I heartily recommend this book." --Lisa "book junkie""Enthroned by Amethysts is the most engrossing book I have read this year. I could not put it down. Jennifer has blended the mythology of many Terran cultures into a seamless whole. She has created an entire universe of magical beings whose lives seem completely familiar. The "Dance with Destiny" series has more plot twists than I can count, yet they are not an artificial literary device but rather a natural result of the unfolding of events in the heroine Jenevier's life. Jenevier's only character flaw is that she loves too much and too completely. She often loves recklessly to her own destruction. The story is fantasy (with plenty of romance) but like mythology and science fiction the book shines a spotlight on the human condition and causes the reader to examine his or her actions and the effect that those actions have on the lives of the people around them." --Keithar20 "
