A Communion

Communion with the Divine Spirit reflects my spiritual journey and is an exploration of the profound relationship between the physical and the metaphysical. Through this work, I weave the threads of philosophy, personal history, and transcendent wisdom, drawing from Stoicism, transcendental meditation, and teachings of the divine.The story of A'maresh, a celestial being whose influence transcends time, is a vessel for exploring how spirit and matter intersect and guide us in moments of inner conflict and resolution.The hush-the stillness of the mind and soul-becomes a guiding force for redemption, transformation, and the unspoken truths we carry through lifetimes.The characters within this narrative, including the Divine Spirit, A'maresh, her descendants, and those grappling with moral dilemmas, mirror my personal quest for inner peace. It is a tale that addresses themes of justice, forgiveness, and the eternal pursuit of spiritual unity, grounded in the idea that even in the most chaotic moments, there is a profound connection to something greater than ourselves. I am a poet and artist who loves both the inner and outer beauty of all women. I have collected my poetry in an anthology, "From Checkered Cloth." I published my autobiography, My Grand Ole Lifetime–A Memoir, in 2022. I originally published my epic poem, I Dream of A'maresh. I write screenplays, and direct and perform in them.
