Have you ever had someone show you a lot of pictures with a long explanation? It can be frustrating to hear someone ramble about a summer vacation when you want a light commentary or no explanation at all. Donald R. Smith Jr., an amateur photographer, skips the banter in this collection of compelling photos that often have no explanation at all. Many times, the pictures speak for themselves. Having started photography as a hobby, the book showcases the pictures he took with entry-level equipment. Whether on his way to work, on a weekend walk, or just taking random pictures, you'll agree he has a good eye. Subjects include a rare watch, Washington Heights, a sports car, bike swag, and some photos that simply cannot be explained. Join the photographer as he celebrates his growth as an artist and be inspired to take some pictures of your own with the images in 2021 NYC Yearbook.
