OFF-AIR is a short comic about Fix Vulpes, an anxious radio operator/co-pilot who has lost contact with his pilot. It takes place between parts I and II of EIGHTY DAYS (also by A.C. Esguerra), an award-winning graphic novel about queer pilots in an alternate-1930s world who fall in love in the shadow of war. It was drawn and hand-lettered with traditional ink and brush on paper.
