THE DOCTOR: A Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborus, the Doctor has broken from her people. Once employed by the Division as an enforcer, she is now her own person. However, she is not yet the Doctor of legend, the hero who travels the universe, righting wrongs and confronting the evil head on. This Doctor is unpredictable, refused to play be the rules, and has a questionable moral code. But she has reluctantly agreed to help a pair of scientists as they strive to save the world.
THE DALEKS: Born from the radiation of a devastating war on the planet Skaro, the Daleks are genetic abominations formed from what remained of the Kaled race by the deranged scientist Davros. Mutants encased in a polycarbide alloy layered alongside Dalekanium, the Daleks are an unceasing war machine, powering across the universe. Their desire to exterminate all things not Dalek fuels their quest for power throughout the universe. At this point, the Doctor has yet to meet the Daleks who will later become her greatest foe.
THE MISSION: In the depths of UNIT's most secure facility, the Black Archive, familiar artefacts have been pulled through time and space, corrupted by a dangerous energy that threatens to tear reality apart. The Head of the Black Archive, Osgood, and her assistant Andrew have called on the Doctor's earlies known incarnation to help. Using Andrew's invention, the Resistor, the Doctor must return these objects to where they belong, and remove the energy from them to seal the tears in reality...
