Long before there was The Walking Dead there was Deadworld. Here is the long running series that has had over 100 comic issues and graphic novels put into print and over 1,000,000 copies sold. Deadworld is considered by many to be the godfather of the modern zombie comic craze. VOICES FROM THE DEADWORLD is a self contained graphic novel that provides a great introduction to the overall story as each page features a scene or character with an accompanying narration that tells the tales of all those who live, died, and came back during the supernatural holocaust. Writer Gary Reed is joined by over 50 different artists to bring forth this unique look at one of the longest running series in independent comics. Deadworld has been nominated for various awards throughout the years including the Shel Dorf Fan Awards, Comic Monsters, and the Ghastlies. If you haven't read Deadworld yet, this is a fantastic entry to get a feel for the world of the dead...and if you're already a Deadworld reader, what a great way to keep up to date with a few reminders thrown in.
