Do you dare to question what's real, who's in charge-and what they're willing to sacrifice to stay there? Think Fargo meets Fight Club, with a dash of Bad Monkey and a side of Dexter. This story delivers sharp commentary and strange bedfellows: sophisticated internationalists, drone pilots in bunny slippers, assassins on banana seat bikes, and network news anchors with God complexes. Meet Leroy O'Malley of Apalachicola, Florida: a naive and hopeful dreamer. All he wanted was a shot at the good life-a steady job, maybe even a dental plan. This is the story of a man who made the mistake of believing the lies we are all told. Always down on his luck, a chance encounter with a foul-mouthed - though oddly charismatic - out-of-towner at a roadside oyster shack suddenly launches Leroy on the fast-track to the life he's always wanted. But as the stakes rise, he finds himself swept into a tangled mess of black ops, corrupt officials, and media puppeteers who see him as the perfect fall guy. He thought he was chasing purpose and a 401K plan-until purpose chased him back with a surgical saw and an igloo cooler. Will he choose himself or America? The only way to find out is to read the series.
