Psalm Reign is the IT specialist for his family's online brokering business. When his brother is shot and sent home under 24-hour nursing supervision, he moves in to assist with caring for his brother and watching his back. As handsome and successful as Psalm is, he's always been more into gaming and computers than the fairer sex. When the gorgeous chocolate nurse gains his attention, he starts to wonder if there is more to life than his family's crime empire and designing games. Recently separated from her husband, Anya Williams has been fighting to find her independence in spite of her husband's refusal to give her a divorce. When she finds a job working as a home health nurse, she never expects her client's grumpy brother to be so captivating. No matter how enchantingly beautiful she is, Psalm equates Anya's presence to his brother's condition. He wants her gone and is not afraid to show it. The sooner Bishop's nurse leaves, the better. Annoyed by her very existence, Psalm avoids Anya at all costs. While she watches over his brother, he watches over her. As much as he hates to admit it, the bubbly nurse is the bright spot in the darkest time of his life. When he realizes she needs his protection, Psalm doesn't hesitate to step in.
