For Presly Smith, true love is hard to find. The easier she makes herself to love, the harder her relationships feel. Her list appears short and simple-all Presly wants is a man that's hers. When her situation–ship with Houston ends before her sister's wedding, Presly has all but given up on love. It seems unrealistic and unattainable, regardless of how happy and in love her sister is.
When she meets her brother–in–law's best friend Rasheed, he claims her instantly as his. Unfortunately, Presly's heart has been cemented and hardened with no way in in sight. Rasheed is determined to restore her faith in love again. . . or, at least, her faith in being loved by him.
