God and Mr. Gomez

When Jack and Denny Smith embarked on a joint venture to build a vacation dream house in Baja, California, “we had no inkling that we would be entering into a phase of our lives that would capture the fancy of readers throughout the United States.” What they encounter is “a bizarre variety of adventures…hazardous but hilarious,” (Los Angeles Times) in which they find that building a house takes God and Mr. Gomez, a little time, and perhaps, a little tequila.
