Letting her go was a mistake. I never repeat my mistakes . . .
It was just going to be a quick vacation. A break from the demands of my job as a pediatric surgeon. I never thought she'd be there.
Jessica Stein. My Jessa. The woman I left behind all those years ago is every bit as sexy now as she was then. I want her more than ever.
Too bad she doesn't feel the same way. To her, I'm the guy who broke her heart and let her down. She thinks I'm the same player I used to be. She's wrong.
But the only thing she wants from me is my medical expertise. See, her son is sick. I'll do everything I can for the boy, and eventually, I will convince her to trust me with the secrets I know she's keeping. I need her to give me a second chance, because I am the man she's been waiting for.
All I have to do now is convince her of that . . .
